Hi, I’m Ruth, the heart behind Celestial Pawtography. I’m a mom of two wonderful boys, ages 12 and 16, and a lifelong visual artist who finds joy in drawing and even unwinding with coloring books. Creativity has always been a part of me, but I never expected photography—especially pet photography—to become such a meaningful piece of my life.

That all changed when I lost my beloved dog, Vann. In the days after saying goodbye, I realized I didn’t have nearly enough photos of him to capture the spirit of who he was—the little quirks, the joy he brought, and the love we shared. That realization left me wishing I had more to hold onto. When Atlas came into my life, I knew I had to be intentional about preserving his story, so I picked up my camera. Photographing him became a way to heal, to celebrate, and to make sure I never missed the moments that mattered most.

Through Atlas, I discovered how much I love photographing dogs. Every pet has their own personality, their own spark, and their own story to tell. My passion is capturing those stories—whether it’s the playful zoomies, the soulful gaze, or the quiet moments of love—so that you’ll always have those memories to hold close, no matter what tomorrow brings.

Being both a mom and an artist shapes the way I see the world: I notice the little details, the emotions in between moments, and the beauty in everyday connections. At Celestial Pawtography, it’s my joy and honor to help you treasure those same fleeting moments with your pets.
